pc-ble-driver and Bluetooth 5

Hi all,

Will pc-ble-driver support Bluetooth 5? I'd like to use pc-ble-driver to develop a PC-based test application with compatibility back to Windows 7, but also know that it will support Bluetooth 5 in the future.

Hi,

I expect the pc-ble-driver will support most Bluetooth 5 features at some point, but I do not have any timeframe for it. The current pc-ble-driver has support for SoftDevice version 5 API (in addition to version 2), supporting some Bluetooth 5 features.
