Regarding Base package development

Hello,

I am a beginner with Nordic semiconductor. I downloaded SDK v15.0.0 and used some of the examples and it worked perfectly for me.

My project uses different modules of the controller( Like SPI, Analog, ANT protocol).

Our Idea was to have a configurable software development base for Nordic on top we would like to add all user specific functionalities on to it.

We also plan to use FreeRTOS to call the application in real time.

I had previously worked with TS microcontroller which gives a support called ST32Cube which gives you graphical presentation of Pin configuration and other system variables required for controller.

I would like to know if there is similar support for Nordic semioconductor and how to get a base package for user specific development.

Hi,

We do not have any graphical tool for pin configuration etc. Essentially all you need to get started is to download the SDK and a toolchain. Segger Embedded Studio (SES) is available free of charge for all project where the target device is a Nordic semiconductor chip, so I recommend that unless you have a strong desire to use another toolchain.
