Does the nrf Mesh Android App/iOS supports Extended Packet Length?

Does the nrf Mesh Android App/iOS supports Extended Packet Length? Like MTU size > 23 .

I have used Samsung Galaxy 8 but I am not able to provision the Device , even though the Phone Supports Ble 5.0.

Is there any API in android to check if the extended packet feature is supported.I believe not every Android Phone support this even though they are Ble 5.Is it available on Ble 4.2 smartphones as well. What about the iOS smartphones.

Any information/discussion/hyperlniks will be highly appreciated !

Thanks in advance !

  • Hi @raulp both Android and iOS nRF MEsh app supports higher MTU. All Android versions including Lollipop and higher supports this feature. Also the nRF Mesh App does not require MTU greater than 23 for it to provision nodes as there are older Android versions that does not support the mtu request. There is no such transparent API except the Android documentation which states this. What version of the Android app are you using? and what's the example you are testing against?
