We are developing project with nRF52832 chip.
For making it's monitoring we used UART communication port. But on the next step of development we had to enable the uart for other direct communication project requirements and the monitoring we had to migrate to J-Link RTT viewer V5.12f. With the simple text the RTT Viewer works fine, but for text with jighlighting and with special characters it had the problems:
1. However if the RTT Viewer works with 16 colors text highlighting it doesn't work with 256 colors or truecolors as putty terminal.
2. The RTT Viewer also makes the problems while showing characteristics from upper askii table (#128 - #256) and with unicode characteristics.
3. If during the output the RTT Viewer meets any "problematic" character it immediately switchs from "Terminal0"/"All Terminals" tab to "Log" tab. We tried to find the option to neutralize this automatic unneeded tab switching but couldn't find it at all.
How to solve these problems?
Is it possible to use RTT J-Link communication with any terminals tat suport unicode and 256 color encoding? Can RTT J-Link work with putty for example instead of J-Link Viewer?
Is it at least possible to neutralize the unnessessary automatic tab switch anyway in J-Link RTT Viewer?
