To test relay functionality in BLE mesh network using light switch demo example.

I am working on BLE mesh network,initially I have tested the light switch demo example it is working fine.Now I want to test relay functionality by using light switch example.

After going through some tickets in the forum I got to know relay feature is already enabled in the server example. Now I want to test the relay functionality in the same room by reducing the 'transmission power" in server node and changing the TTL value.

I am trying to change the default transmission power to -12dBm in "advertice.c" but I am not able to find where to change the TTL value.

So, I want to know where to change the TTL value and still any changes I need to make to test the relay functionality in light switch example.

I am using nrf52832 boards, mesh sdk v2.1.1 and segger embedded studio.

Anybody could help in this?

Hi.

Take a look at these two cases for information about how to change the transmit power.

Mesh sdk2.1.1 TX power of nRF52832

Mesh Proxy sdk2.1.1 TX power of nRF52832

The default TTL value (ACCESS_DEFAULT_TTL) is defined in nrf_mesh_config_app.h.

I suggest that you take a look at the access_default_ttl_set() function in access.c

I have changed the TTL value in the access_default_ttl_set() function to '2'. I need to know  whether this changes are enough or need to make any other changes to test the relay functionality by using light_switch_demo example.

If this changes are enough how can I test it.
