Jamming BLE with a PCA10040

I would like to test how our solutions react to a ble jammer.

is there any sample for the pca10040 dk to generate suchjam noise ? Or maybe you could guide me on how i can achieve it ?

  • Jamming the whole 2.4-2.5GHz range seems difficult with NRF5x, since the radio output is 2 MHz bandwidth max.

You might have a jammer in your kitchen: A microwave oven is allowed to radiate about 10 times compared to WLAN or BTLE equipment (1W vs. 100mW here)  - even with the door closed.

The testing software will AFAIK output a fixed frequency, which won't jam BTLE much due to frequency hopping.
