Throughput test from nRF52840 dongle to nRF52840 Evaluation Kit (Rigado BMD-340)

Hi

I have implemented the Nordic Uart Service on the evaluation kit and now I would like to track the data troughput from the dongle to the board with different settings(emulate constraints for other devices) e.g. changing MTU size or enabling DLE. Is there a Windows or Linux application I can use, or do I have to implement it.

If I have to implement it: Is the python pc-ble-driver-py the best solution?

Hi Werner, 

could you clarify if you want to test the throughput from a nRF52840 to another nRF52840 or if its the throughput from a PC with serial connection to a nRF52840 to another nRF52840?

If its the first then I recommend that you take a look at the Experimental: ATT_MTU Throughput Example in our SDK. If its the latter then I recommend that you use the C/C++ libraries and not the python bindings as the C libraries expose all the features, but the python bindings does not.
