nRF52840 dongle didn't display after writing firmware

Hi!

I used nRF Connect Programmer (desktop version) for writing firmware connectivity_1.2.3_115k2_with_s132_3.1.hex. And nRF52840 dongle doesn't display in the device list after that.

There is no device nRF52, no COM port in the Windows Device Manager anymore.

Hi,

You need to use the usb version (link). connectivity_1.2.3_115k2_with_s132_3.1.hex use the UART interface which is why it doesn't show in the device manager. Press the reset button on the dongle while it's plugged in to enter DFU mode, then upload the new connectivity FW with the Programmer app.
