The nRF Mesh app should be able to provision more nodes than a dedicated nRF52 DK provisioner given that the DK board has limited flash to store the mesh data, right ? Or, is there some hardcoded limit for maximum number of nodes in the Mesh app ?
Yes, it would be recommended to use either a phoner, computer or similar as a provisioner, due to the memory limitations of the nRF52-DK.
As far as I know there isn't any limitation to the number of nodes in the nRF Mesh app, but I can verify this with our developers. Are you using iOS or Android?
