Wireless UART example.

This time I am trying to run Wireless UART Example but it seems that it does not work.

After I flashed dev board no LED were turned ON or flashing but web site says:

LED assignments:

LED 1 is turned on when initialization is completed.
LED 2 is turned on when the device sends data through the radio and turns off after receiving a confirmation.
LED 3 is turned on when the device sends data through UART and turns off after this action is completed.
LED 4 is turned on when an error occurs.

So my question is. What are possible reasons for this behavior?
Do I need pins RTS/CTS connected for this to work?
Do I need both, the first and second device run at the same time to initialization process went through successfully?

I think I have found the problem (or at least I think so :-)).

Can I run this example on PCA10040 or not?

No - because, as  Jørgen Holmefjord  said,  the PCA10040 does not have an nRF52840 chip!

The PCA10040 has an nRF52832 chip - and that does not have the 802.15.4 MAC.

What do you mean by, "Similar" ?

As noted, the nRF52832 does not support 802.15.4 - so nothing to do with 802.15.4 is going to work on it!

Have you looked at the SDK examples?

OK, thank you, one more question, do you know which part (in source code) is responsible for connecting both devices because I would like to modify it that so I could connect 2 nRF52832 dev boards together.

Then one will need to be the Central, and the other will need to be the Peripheral.

You will find both a Central and a Peripheral example using the Nordic UART Service (NUS).
