Nrf52840 USB dongle accuracy test for calibration

Hi,

I am developing an RSSI viewer platform with nrf52840 dongles or DK. However, I need to have a result for accuracy and precision of the device to calibrate them. For this aim, I need a highly accurate device acting as a reference point. My question is what device and how I can use to find this reference point and compare the accuracy of each node. I am aware that some information is mentioned in the datasheet but I need to do the experiment myself.

Hi,

Note that the RSSI accuracy valid range is from -90 to -20 dBm, and that the accuracy is +-2 dB. Best case you would get a distance accuracy around ~1.5m - 3m.  You might find this master thesis here useful. Also note that nRF Connect for desktop have a RSSI viewer app.
