MCUBOOT release version number

Hi,

I was working with MCUBOOT and was curious too know from where the MCUBOOT release version number is been generated or fetched- 

When building MCUBOOT using cmake it generates build.ninja file which shows the whole version number-

Version.cmake file give a description on how these version numbers are written but i am not able to figure out that exactly from where its getting the version.

Also is their a way where i can put in my own version number when ever i build MCUBOOT.

Any help, suggestion is much appreciated.

Hi,

I've figured out what it is, its the zephyr git version and git sha.

In - 10-g1b23b3fb1e , 10 is number of commits made and g stands for git and the rest is 7 characters sha.

You can read about it more on- git describe --tags --long
