nRF52 dongle with BLE and ANT+

Hello,

I want to us the nRF52 dongle with BLE and ANT communication. I downloaded SDK 15.2 and looked at the examples. I can see a lot of examples for ANT and for BLE individually, but i can not find an example for a multi-protocol of ANT and BLE. So I wounder if this is possible for this dongle? 

I also had a look at the different softdevices and for previously versions there has been a separate softdevice for this multi-protocol but it does not looks like there is one this SDK.

Hi,

Currently there is no combined ANT and BLE softdevice available for SDKv15.2 that support the v6.x.x softdevice stack (likely available end of year).

You should however be able to use SDKv14.2 and there are combined ANT and BLE softdevices (S332v5.x) available from thisisant.com that can be used with this SDK:

Will this softdevice work on a nRF52840? Since this is the chip on the dongle

In that case you are working with the nRF52840, so you need to wait for a alpha release of the S340 v6.x.x planned end of novemeber that should work with SDKv15.2. If however you can use the nRF52832 then you can use S332v5.x.x with SDKv14.2.
