Send mesh messege from server to all node in mesh network

Hello Nordic Support Team

I am using proxy client and server example with nrf528232 dk board.I can send messege from client node to all server node successfully but i want to send messege from server to client and all mesh network node so how can i achieve this.I try to set one server with publication group address(cx0009) and set (cx0009)group address to all other node subscription address but this not working.

So can you guide me how can i send messege from server node to all other node in mesh network.Also i want to know that how can i track which node address publish messege in mesh network?

• Which SDK are you using?
• What do you mean by message? Is it a string?
• Do you use the nRF Mesh app for provisioning?

• I am using mesh sdk version 2.2.0 
  
  
• I am using proxy client server light switch example message mean I can turn on & off server light using client switch in mesh network but now I want to turn on & off light of client and server node in mesh network using one server node of mesh network. is it possible?

Hi

There is fixed group addresses that can be used for sending data to nodes in the network:

• All-proxies: 0xFFFC
• All-friends: 0xFFFD
• All-relays : 0xFFFE
• All-nodes: 0xFFFF

Its seems that 0x0009 is inside the Unicast address space and not a group address.

I tried all above address to set as publish address in one server node but server node not sending light on message to other client and server node in mesh network.

I am using nrf mesh app for set publish group address in one server node.

Can you help me where I am wrong or what should I do extra for send message from server to other node in mesh network ?

Sorry for the late reply.

We have an example on Github that has recently been updated. I suggest that you follow the instructions in the mesh-hands-on..pdf and test the example. You should then proceed with updating the standard light switch example so that it does the same as the working Github example, which uses a simplified generic on off client and server model.

May i ask how to use 0xFFFF address to send data to nodes in the network?
