Possible typo in nRF52832 v1.4 regarding RAM[*].POWERSET and CLR

18.9.13 RAM[0].POWERSET (and sections associated for other RAM sections) states:

When read, this register will return the value of the POWER register.

however the RW field only specifies W

Should it state

When written, this register set the value of the POWER register

?

Similarly 

18.9.14 RAM[0].POWERCLR  (and sections associated for other RAM sections) states:

When read, this register will return the value of the POWER register.

Should it state:

When written, this register clears the value of the POWER register

?

Hi,

 

When writing to POWERSET, you set the specific bits. When writing '1' to a field in POWERCLR, you clear the specific bit in POWER.

If you read the POWERSET or POWERCLR, it will return the content of the POWER register, but that might not necessarily match what you just wrote into POWERCLR for instance.

So do not read POWERSET or POWERCLR, which is consistent with the RW field, but not with the text.

You can read those two registers, but the content will be consistent with the POWER register.

Your version is, in my view, another way of stating the same thing, as the POWER register is defined to show the current state.
