I have been looking into using Bluetooth Low Energy 5 advertising features like periodic advertising and advertisement chaining, but have not been able to have any luck with the S140 v6.1.0 API. I have found some previous posts in which official Nordic developers said that earlier versions of the SoftDevice did not support these features yet even though the hardware did (https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/24492/advertising-on-secondary-frequency-channels, https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/23139/does-nrf52840-support-those-features-in-bluetooth5-like-1-le-extend-adv-2-le-periodic-adv-3-aod).
I was wondering if it was still the case that the current SoftDevice and API version (S140 v6.1.0) still do not support some BLE 5 advertisement features like periodic advertisements, or if there is any implementation example that anyone has out there.
