Can I use nRF52832 as a NFC tag reader?

Can I use nRF52832 as a NFC tag reader with the new read/write capable type 4tag library in nRF5 SDK?

Hi,

As far as I know, it is not possible. It can only emulate tags t4t and t2t. For the purpose of polling device, you have to use external NFC devices such as pn7150.

Yes, this is correct. You will need to use a polling device (such as a smart phone), as the nfc on the 52 dk is a passive nfc with supports NFC-A type 2 & type 4. See the documentation for more info (link 1, link 2).
