Debugging options

I am developing a wearable using nRF52832 and looking for best debugging practice. I have given provision for SWD pin connection on PCB board. What is the best suitable JLink debugger for debugging? What are the functionality of trace pins available non-chip? 

In parallel to hardware development, I wanted to test some basic firmware and bough nRF52840. I setup Segger Embedded workbench and able to download some basic application using nRF programmer. However, I am clueless about debugging hardware. What debugger should I buy which could work for both nRF52840 dongle and nRF52832 based custom developed hardware?

You can use the on-board J-link that comes with the DK to program and debug external boards via the Debug Out connector (J19). 

For trace pin functionality see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGmSCVgb6EM. You'll need a J-link pro to use the ETM trace functionality. 

An nRF52840 DK can debug both an nRF52832 and the nRF52840 dongle. You will want to use a 10-pin needle connector.

Since I need to import nRF52840 DK, it seems to be costly option for me. I believe some of the Segger JLink debugger might be suitable for my requirement. I found 'J-Link V9 Link ARM Emulator' on Amazon. Will it be suitable?

That one should work, but you need at least one DK to develop with nordic anyways. You must be able to develop on a circuit that we know works, otherwise it will be very difficult to find the root causes of issues that normally arises during development. 

Mouser and a few other electronics distributors have entered the Indian market in the last year or so. I believe they are located in Mumbai.
