How can I get a passkey to decrypt an encrypted data after connecting ?

Hello.

We are struggling that we can't analysis contents of a encrypted packet during connection mode in BLE communication because of no idea to get a passkey, although follwing a nRF Sniffer User Guide v2.2 on section 5.5(attached material on page 1)

We use a Bluefruit LE Sniffer  embedded nRF51822(firmware : nRF-Sniffer-V2) in combination with a wireshark(Ver. 2.6.4). 

 

Should I refer to what ?

Hi,

no idea to get a passkey

 If the BLE example you are using uses passkey, the passkey is likely printed out on UART. This is the default behavior in e.g. the  ble_app_gls example in the SDK. See this link.

I appreciate your help. We resolve the problem.

The passkey is found on gap.h in nRF51 source code as static variable.
