mergehex problem

Hi.

I just want to test mergehex. So I put message as below.

mergehex --merge s140_nrf52_6.1.0_softdevice.hex direct_test_mode_pca10056.hex --output out.hex

Both s140_nrf52_6.1.0_softdevice.hex direct_test_mode_pca10056.hex are in your example as below..

But it can't be merged as below.

>mergehex --merge s140_nrf52_6.1.0_softdevice.hex direct_test_mode_pca10056.hex --output out.hex
Parsing input hex files.
Merging files.
ERROR: The hex files cannot be merged since there are conflicts.

I don't know why.

Could you please give me an advice?

Hi, 

The DTM examples starts at address 0x0 in flash which overlaps with the softdevice, hence the error. So you need to change the linker configuration for the example so it starts above the softdevice if you want to merge both.

I actually changed memory map as below.

But it still makes same error.
