In an open area, with clear line-of-sight, 1 km is achievable.

what is the minimum distance offered by long range?

No guarantees. Once you put concrete walls, windows, and other obstacles into the path, the range will be reduced. My recommendation is to test this in scenarios that is normal for your application.
