This week Nordic announced Bluetooth LE with Amazon FreeRTOS via a mailshot

Earlier this week I got a mailshot from Nordic with the subject "Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF52840 System-on-Chip is now one of the first chips supporting Bluetooth LE with Amazon FreeRTOS"

Is this a case of the Softdevice binary on top of FreeRTOS?

Or is it similar to Zephyr where the BLE stack and the Controller stack are provided as source code? (Perhaps even the same source as per the Zephyr stack)

This is an urgent request for any information you have as my senior management has asked me to investigate and have details ready for a call next Wednesday.

Hi Mahendra,

Amazon FreeRTOS uses the SoftDevice (so it is more similar to the nRF5 SDK than the Zephyr project).
