SDK file containing examples for Thingy 52 (PCA 20020)

Hello folks,

I am new to Thingy 52 PCA 20020 model and I have downloaded nRF SDK 15.2 and I am using a Segger J-Link programmer/debugger. 
The thing is I would like to get acquainted with the device first so I wanted to do the basic programs like blinky etc. but, I am not able to find any example for PCA20020 in the latest version of SDK. 

Please let me know if I am missing some very basic step or the work is still being done for PCA20020.

Hi,

The SDK does not have any examples for the Thingy:52, and I do not believe it will come in the near future (if at all). However, the Thingy firmware is available on GitHub, so you can start with that and modify it if you like.

In addition to no SDK support, the Thingy:52 also lack an onboard debugger. This makes is less suitable for development than a nRF52832 DK (unless you connect an external debugger). I recommend you obtain a DK to start nRF development. This can then also be used to program and debug the Thingy (using the Debug out connector).

Thanks for your reply, although the latest SDK has examples for various other models such as PCA 10040 and all in soft device 132 but , I can't see any PCA 20020 examples.

Yes, that is correct. The SDK does not have examples for the Thingy:52 (PCA20020).

I guess I have to start from scratch.
