  •  i can not access file. through web.

this issue comes after the Nordic website is updated.

before few days it works fine.

i have some old bookmarked link which downloads the nrf connect.

but now this link also shows the error of 404 on the webpage.

  • Hi,

I do not think those two issues are related, as I can both access the page through a web browser and I can download the RSSI Viewer from nRF Connect.

Yes, some things are moved, but the pc-nrf-connect-rssi file is still in the old location at developer.nordicsemi.com.

    1) What http return code, error message, or other information do you get from the web browser when you try to access the file?

    2) Can you access the new nRF Connect for Desktop product page?

    3) What is the (old) URL that you have in your bookmark for downloading nRF Connect for Desktop?

    Regards,
    Terje

  • Hi,

Thank you! Actually, in 1) that seems to be the correct file. That means this is most likely an issue with nRF Connect and I will get back to you when I know more about what it might be or things we want you to test.

    Regards,
    Terje

  • Hi,

Does it happen only for the RSSI viewer, or does it happen for other nRF Connect apps as well?

    Regards,
    Terje

  • yes for all apps RSSI viewer, Programmer, power profiler etc.

  • Hi,

I am sorry for the delay.

    This sounds a bit strange.

The only thing we can think of is that there might be some blocking of the network traffic for the particular application, enforced by firewall and/or antivirus, either on your machine or on the network.

Do you have any form of firewall and/or antivirus, for which you can check the logs (or ask your system administrator to check the logs)?

Has this worked previously on the same pc and network?

Does it work on a separate network?

Do you see similar problems with other PCs on the same network?

    Regards,
    Terje
