Calender implementation in nRF52810

Dear Nordic,

I implemented a RTC calender in nRF52832 using RTC2 . I want to port this RTC calender to nRF52810  but 810 has 2 RTC.

RTC0 is used by softdevice and  RTC1 is used by App timer is it right?

how i port my RTC calender to 810?

which RTC i used for that?

can you help me to resolve this?

current irq handler in nRF52832 using RTC2:-

Hi,

You are correct that RTC0 is used by softdevice and RTC1 is used by app timer. If you want to use your calendar on nRF52810, you either have so sacrifice one of the other uses (softdevice or app timer), or implement the calendar using app timer. There is only two RTCs available on this IC, this is the trade-off between price and features.

Thanks for your replay. If i try implement calendar using app timer makes any difference ie, any time drift etc...

Is it any difficulty if i manually implement this calendar using app timer?

I have not implemented a calendar using app_timer, so I do not know of any difficulties. There could be drifts related to the event handling, but it is still running of the RTC, so there should not be big difference from your separate implementation.
