Why isn't the nRF5 SDK on GitHub?

Hello, 
 I'm wondering why isn't the nRF5 SDK on GitHub yet. There have been many instances where I have found bugs or missing features in the SDK, that I have implemented myself and would love to submit a pull request for inclusion in a future release. 
 I read here that it's because of licensing issues? I have no idea how that stuff works, but you already open-sourced A LOT of projects, and it would be awesome if the nRF5 SDK was among those. My colleagues have contributed several times to the development of the iOS and Android DFU libraries, so why can't I contribute to the development of the SDK I use? :)

Hi Andy, 
 The main difficulty with the nRF5 SDKs is that they are developed and maintained in an internal VCS, and the development process is based on internal system. What you suggest is possible, have some obvious benefits, but requires process changes that won't come for free. 
 A good news here is that the SDK drivers are on Github, so if you want to contribute you can do it here: https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nrfx
