Sending and receiving strings over UART mobile app.

I want create a simple application such that when I send a string "Hello" from the nRF UART Android app to the board, I receive a string "Hi" back to the phone. How do I write a program for this?

I'm a student and just started learning how to use this board. Please help me ASAP. I am using an nRF52 DK with nRF52832.

BLE_UART example is where I would start for this.

/Yes I went trough that example code but there are so many functions and libraries defined that I don't know which ones to use. I just want to know which functions I should use to send and receive strings over UART.

It's not really about the board - it's about reading and understanding source code.

So where are you in terms of 'C' programming?

This really isn't a project for a beginner in 'C' programming.

As a student, you should be going to your teacher / tutor / supervisor for guidance.
