Power profiling on nRF52840 DK as DUT

Hi,

I have gone through PPK user guide but it is not working out.

In my setup I am using

• One DK as external SEGGER JLink
• One PPK as standalone power profiler
• One PDK with SB40 cut runs some BLE firmware(DUT)

Issues observed

• BLE firmware is not running(LED 1 should glow but all LEDs are glowing).

Questions

• Is my setup correct?
• Can I connect two small wires between PPK's external DUT and DUT PDK nRF current measurement header(P22)? If not then what type of connectors can be used?
• It is mentioned in PPK userguide that standalone PPK require v1.1 python based software. Is there any user guide for this? Or can I use v2.6.0 nRF connect desktop?
• What devices can I keep as DUT? What is the minimal pin out on DUT?

Hi,

Can you try connecting the PPK's "External DUT" lines to "External supply" of the DK, and put the VEXT->nRF switch in ON position? You should also power the DK with a USB cable, to provide enough current for the Segger J-Link IC.
