As stated in the other case you opened, https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/41688/why-there-s-no-errata-for-nrf52832-marked-aaffe1, we cannot find the trace code in our production database. Please provide a picture of the IC where the markings are visible. Which distributor did you purchase the ICs from?
Best regards
Bjørn
I bought 3 modules online, not chips.
Best Regards
Ok, will forward this to the QA department, but the marking QFAAE1 indicate that this should be a Rev 2 nRF52832, as shown in the IC revision Overview, i.e. Ex0 where x is number from 0..9
Ok, there should be an errata for it, which is not released yet, right?

The Errata for the QFAAE1 is identical to the QFAAE0 Errata as we have not issued any Product Change Notification, i.e. the QFAAE0 is identical to the QFAAE1. So you can find the errata here.
Got it, thank you, Bjorn.
Why was the chip's production revision incremented from QFAAE0 to QFAAE1 if they are identical? I have been using QFAAE1 in production for a while now and my manufacturer wants to use QFAAE0 for the next batch. I am trying to understand the risks and differences if I go ahead with the QFAAE0 when I've been using the QFAAE1.
