Gazell Application on nRF52840

Hi Nordic Team,

Meanwhile we are working with Laird BL654 which uses the nRf52840.

My questions:

1. Can we flash gazell examples on Laird BL654 with Segger?

2. If we are using gazell stack, do you expect problems with EN300 328 standard?
With BLE we did not get any problems and DTM gives the testlab the access to the testmodes.

3. We transmit about 200 Byte cyclic from A to B and B to A .

Is gazell the right choice?

Keep in mind we needn't be compatible to PCs or Smartphones, we have an

nRf52840 to nRf52840 communcation.

Best regards

Andre

  • HI Andre,

Q1: Yes, you should be able to flash the Gazell examples from our SDK. Note, you might have to create a custom board file describing which pins that are connected to any LEDs and/or buttons.

Q2: No, you should not have any issues with EN300 328 and Gazell.

Q3: You can use BLE, Gazell or Enhanced Shockburst. All of the will do the trick.

    Best regards
