BLE Advertising with data from I2C peri example/scan for other BLE services

I am looking through the BLE examples, but I can't seem to find an example that best fits my project scope where I wish to have a BLE central service that reads data from an I2C peri BUS, and while also advertising said data as well.

Also would it be possible to include a function where the module would also scan for other BLE services in a fixed interval and record RSSI and advertising values?

Hi,

There is no single example that demonstrate all you need in one example, but you can combine a BLE central and peripheral example (which can do both scanning and advertising) with a TWI example. I recommend you start off with the BLE example and modify it and add what you need.

Hi, I notice the various labels indicating "Experimental" would this be suitable in a commercial device?

Hi,

The experimental label indicate that the examples does not have sufficient test coverage in our test system, but I would not put much emphasis on it. The underlying SoftDevice features are tested and certified, and you should anyway do proper testing of your application.
