How to generate nRF51822 bootloader in SDK 6 using ARM GCC

Hello.

I need to compile the bootloader for the nRF51822 chip, using the the nRF SDK version 6.1, and ARM GCC.

I do not have access to Keil.

How can I achieve this? The example on the SDK is not available for GCC...

Hi,

Unless you have a strong desire to use GCC I suggest you build the bootloader with Keil. The bootloader size in SDK 6.1 is well below the 32k limit of the free evaluation version for Keil.
