Hi,
We would like having a unique device ID for each device. Can you recommend a way to do so using the nrf52840 flash?
Thanks.
Daniel

Every nrf52 has an unique ID from the factory, it is in FICR->DEVICE_ID and is 64 bits long.
Thanks Andre!
two following questions:
1. Does it means that there is no way to erase it?
2. Is the encryption key is also unique?
Thanks again,
Daniel
The data is the FICR is programmed in the factory. Only Nordic can write to the FICR, so they cannot be erased or altered.
Perhaps this question is also of interest regarding the "random" fields in the FICR

It's asked for the nrf51 but afaik this should apply to the whole nrf5 series.
Thanks again!
