nrf9160 Additional Certification Requirements

Hello:

If we are to use the nrf9160 in a production product,  what additional certifications are required?    For example, if I purchase a Telit cellmodule, I still have to pay for certifications from the carriers (ATT, etc).

I assume I will need to get FCC, etc on the final product when using the nRF9160?

We take care of the module certifications, but both regulatory and carrier certifications typically have to be done for end-products as well. However, those processes are typically much lighter when you are based on a certified module. Generally, it will then be the antenna/radiated performance that is the focus of the certification tests.
