How about nRF9160 Certifications in China and how many BANDs are supported?

Hi,

  It‘s great thing that the nRF9160 DK can buy.

But there are few question need to be confirmed?

1, I saw the "Onging ceretifications" (https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Low-power-cellular-IoT/nRF9160-Certifications).

    it seems just only one band (B5) are supported in china? This band is china telecom band.

  

2,  There are more bands to be supported in china?

3, Is it time to do nRF9160DK test in china？

2) As it says below in the link you sent: "Our test team and testing partners will continue to add regions and bands to this list in order to cover as much as possible of the globe." 

3) It seems that B5 is being certified as we speak. I am not sure how long this process takes. I sent you a PM with more info. If you want to be early out to market, it might be a good idea to start testing soon. Your local Regional Sales Manager should be able to help you in regards to when you can start to test.

Just to be clear in my mind, tell me if I'm right. Actually, there is only B3,B4, B13 and B20 that are certified but the nRF9160 is able to work on all bands that we can see in "ongoing certifications" and also the other band included between 700MHz and 2200MHz.

Bands B9, B19, B21 that are used in Japan can be used by the nRF9160?

From the same link, it does not seem that B9, B19 & B21 are currently being certified. I would contact your local Regional Sales Manager & ask them about this. If you do not have the contact info for your RSM, you can send me a private message on Devzone.
