Tune up tolerances for nRF52810 based design

Hi,

we had used nRF52810 in our product. Our product is undergoing FCC & IC certification.

FCC & IC regulatory body had requested to provide Tune UP tolerance values of our design.

I request Nordic to suggest, what should be those values.

Best Regards,

Mr. Mohan Kulkarni

  • Hi Mohan

The tolerance of the IC itself when it comes to output power variations is around +/-1 dB. Depending on the tolerance of the matching network components, the total may me more. So you must either measure a number of devices or be conservative and say +/- 2 dB. I doubt the tolerance will be worse than this.
