Connecting to an NB-S1 network with the nRF9160 DK

Hello, 

I'm currently using an nRF9160 DK v.0.7.0 and the provided samples like the asset tracker and the at command client. Compiling, flashing etc. of the firmware already worked and I got no (obvious) errors running the samples.

Unfortunately, there is no LTE-M available at my current location. Is there currently any possibility to connect to an NB-S1 network? Do you plan to release any NB-S1 compatible firmware before March 2019?

Hi Christian,

Yes, it is currently possible to connect to the NB-IoT network.

As you have noticed the NB-IoT Modem Firmware is not out for the public yet, since public sampling is planned for March 2019.

We do have an early version of the NB-IoT Modem Firmware, but is only delivered out by requests.
