Cloned asset_tracker project, need to redirect MQTT broker.

Hello,

I had to hard code new MQTT broker settings.  Specifically the NRF_CLOUD_HOSTNAME.  Whenever I update the nerf_cloud Kconfig to select a new broker, the autoconf.h file always ended up with the amazonaws broker.  What is the proper way of doing this?

Hi,

 

Add this to your asset_tracker/prj.conf file to override the hostname:

CONFIG_NRF_CLOUD_HOST_NAME="Somehost.xyz"

 

Please note that the nrf_cloud library is subscribing/publishing on specific topics, which is very likely not what you want in your application:

A generic mqtt publisher/subscriber example is unfortunately not available at this time.

I now get this problem;

Ignore my last post.  It works, I had to remove the spaces around the equals sign in the definition.
