nrf52832 serial dfu mode implementation procedure in nrfutil application

Hi all,

We are using nrf52832  board in our product. We used serial dfu method to upload the bootloader. Its done with help of nRFgoStudio application.

We want to know the detail procedure to  implement in our code. Please provide the information.

How its ping the UART, packet sequences. Please send any flow chart and frame packets to implement in C.

We need details about which packet need to send first before sending our firmware.

Please provide the information.

Hi Basavanagouda,

We do not have an official C implementation for the DFU master, so you have to implement that yourself. The DFU protocol is documented here, and you can refer to this unofficial partial implementation (nRFutil_C_code_4eed9ea.zip) as well as the various implementations on GitHub (Python, JavaScript, iOS and Android).
