nRFConnect 2.6.1 Bluetooth Low Energy - which application is programmed on pca10056

Dear Nordic, 

I installed nrfConnect 2.6.1 and lauched "BluetoothLow Energy" application. Then i selected my board and it asked "Device must be programmed ..." and loaded an application on board, which application is loaded and do have source code of this ?

Hi,

nRF Connect uses a serial port connection to a local DK or Dongle with special "connectivity" firmware. The firmware is based on serialization examples from the nRF5 SDK, with some added patches. See the hex folder of the pc-ble-driver project on github. nRF Connect currently uses the branch tagged v2.3.2.
