PPK (nRF6707) error "Failed to read PPK metadata" on measuring external device with external supply

Getting "Failed to read PPK metadata" issue on measuring current of external device with external supply. I use nRF6707 PPK booth with PCA10028 or PCA10040 (doesn't work in booth cases), this tutorial. In case of onboard regulator supply it works in 10% cases (after reconnenction try) - otherwise "Failed to read PPK metadata", in case of external device supply it always return  "Failed to read PPK metadata". I have seen the same problems in forum, but no one answer for solving that issue. OS Linux
I successfully used measuring before on the Windows 7, but now in the Linux and in the Windows 10 i have that issue, i suppose it was happened after nrf Connect for desktop update.
Can anyone explain the reasons of appearing this error or how to resolve it?

Hi.

We are investigating why the PPK appears to have problems on Linux and Windows 10. In the meantime I suggest that you downgrade your JLINK package to 6.30, as this package seems to be more stable.
