BLE Mesh Light Switch demo -

Greetings,

I'm having troubles getting the Mesh lighting demo to work. Here are the details:

IDE = SES 4.12

SDK = nRF5 SDK v15.2.0, nRF5 Mesh SDK v3.1.0

SoftDevice = S132 v6.1.0

Hardware = 2x Rigado BMD-300-EVAL with nRF52832, latest silicon (using nRF52 DK / PCA10040 examples - same LED and Button assignments)

I'm attempting to follow the YouTube video showing the Thingy52s. There are some differences in the screenshots on the iOS app, probably due to updates in the mobile app.

I keep getting 

<t:   13611501>, main.c,  227, Sending msg: ONOFF SET 1
<t:   13939192>, main.c,  152, Acknowledged transfer timeout.

... when pressing button 1 or 2 (2 shows SET 0) on the client / switch side, and nothing happens on the server / light side.

No changes to the source code were made.

I think you have to configure your server / light side subscribes to client / switch side's publish address.

Hi.

Like suggested below you should have your Server subscribe to the Publication address of the Client.

In the pictures you added, you can see that the Server is Publishing to address "C002".
This should be changed to the server Subscribing to address "C002". Below the publication address you can see the "Add Subscription Address", add C002 there.

Thanks William and Joakim! I figured it was operator error. Everything is working as expected now.
