Connect DCC Pin to AIN7, AIN6 pins

Hi,

I would like to know the min and max voltage at DCC pin when using DC DC mode.

I am thinking to connect DCC pin to AIN7 and AIN6 pins to facilitate the routing.

Would there be any drawback like high current draw into AIN7, AIN6 pins since these pins are recommended for low frequency I/O only according to Table 6, nrf52832_PS_v1.4 and DCC pin is likely to be in MHz?

Hi Hein

You should not connect the DCC pin to any AIN pin as it delivers a square pulse with 4MHz. If you want to measure anything from the DC/DC converter you have to use the DEC4 pin (DC/DC converters). The min and max voltages of the output will be from 1.7V to 3.6V.

I know this is a long time ago, but did you successfully manage to route the DCC pin through an unused AIN7?

Do you mean that when AIN is used as adc, 4M hz square wave will be generated, which will affect DCC?
