UART serial port communication issue

Hi , I am flashing applications related to UART / USB but after flashing I am not able to see the log on serial port as per seetings given in manual.

I am seeing error as

    Unable to open connection to:

    Unalbe to open serial Port.

Please let me know if I am missing any configuration. I am using Linux Ubuntu Host PC enviornment and using Putty software to open this port.

Hi,

On what COM port your DK is dectected?

What COM port you have selected in a program for serial connection?

What program do you use for serial connection?

I am using COM Port => /dev/ttyACMO 

I have selected the same COM port in PUTTY with same baud date , and other parameters information given in above link.

I am flashing program usbc_msc_pca10056 and uart_pca10056 and serial_pca10056 programs flash on EVK.

I am not completely sure how to set this up on Linux, but the putty settings are described here:

Remember to implement the settings from the "Terminal settings" AND the "UART and USB settings".

Hi Edvin,

    I had done exact settings on putty . I had flashed below examples -

USB CDC ACM , USB MSC example but I am not able to see NRF_LOG or prints on putty. CAn you please suggest is there anything do I need to configure/set  in the application ?

Can you please send some screenshots of your putty-settings? I am not sure what that looks like on Linux. You are using linux, right?

Ok. What is your COM port? Are you sure that you are using the correct one?

Can you try on a windows machine? I just want to check whether the issue is on the computer side or the nRF side.
