Reset pin 0.21 held to ground for 810

Hello,
Looking for help in confirming what happens when pin 0.21 is grounded on the 810.

I have a simple custom 810 based on the reference design with an added led and rgb.
When 15.2 example ble_app_template is flashed, and device is advertising,
to reset I hold pin 0.21 to ground, and in turn the led and rgb light up.

Whereas when testing same on DK 832 (40 & 40e variants), and on a 832 custom,
the led's do not light up when pin 0.21 is held to ground.

If Nordic (or someone reading this with a custom 810) could confirm a reset would be great.

Hello,

The reset pin is active low so it should trigger a reset if you ground it. Are you sure the that the reset pin is enabled? You can read out the UICR->PLSELRESET[x] registers to confirm. Also note that PIN configurations are undefined in reset so LEDs may not be the best indicator for determining whether the device is held in reset or not.

I have CONFIG_GPIO_AS_PINRESET set, and reset in itself is working without issue.
The issue is, when p0.21 is held to ground causing a reset, the led's light up on the 810, and for every other device tested the led's do not light up.
What is making the 810's led's light up?
Why ok on the 832 and not 810?
