GPS capabilities in nRF9160

I understand that the nrf9160 product is still in pre-release.
I did have a look at the gps receiver section in the DocLib.

For future planning it would be very helpful to have an idea of the performance and capabilities of the GPS receiver.
For example:
- maximal update rate 0.5Hz, 1Hz or 10Hz?
- Is there a PPS signal available? Looking at the existing GPS API there seems to be a callback. Can it be routed to a GPIO?
- Somehow the GPS/LTE modem share some hardware and it seems that the GPS is not available if the modem is active. is this only if the antenna is shared? How would sending/receving a short UDP packet (200 bytes) every 30s affect GPS performance?

Thanks!

In Section 8 of the Objective Product Specification v0.7.1, it says that GPS "operation is time multiplexed with the LTE modem". From what I understand, that means that the GPS can still be used, it just must share the timeslot with the modem (they must synchronize their respective communications over shared HW I guess).

As for your other questions, I believe it is better if I put you in contact with your local Regional Sales Manager, as they are timeline questions. I sent you a PM on DevZone.
