How to generate files for DFU on nRF9160?

Hi, the tool nrf9160_mdm_dfu mentions in its Readme that three files are needed for DFU to work:

"To use this tool, you need to have the following three files:
    ZZzzZZzz.ipc_dfu.signed.ihex    
    firmware.update.image.hex
    firmware.update.image.digest.txt

Where ZZzzZZzz is a part of the digest of your current modem firmware."

so how do I generate the two digest files? and where is the documentation for it?

Hi,

You are not supposed to generate these files yourself. They are provided to you in the modem fw zip (mfwm1nrf916006830alpha.zip)

Oh, modem firmware! Is there any way to update the firmware on the Cortex-M33 already installed with secure boot and Zephy like mentioned in https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/0.3.0/zephyr/subsystems/dfu.html ?

Ok, I'll test the DFU at a later point in time. I've figured out the firmware update process as far as I need it now. I guess we can close this case.
