SIM_DET pin on nRF9160

Hi,

When using an eSIM, do the SIM_DET pin need a pull-up in order for the SIM to be used or can it be left open?

Hi Peter, 

we've tested eSIMs on the nRF9160 DK, where we left the SIM_DET pin N.C(Not Connected), i.e. open. Will confirm that this is the correct configuration as it is not stated in the nRF9160 OPS.

Hi Peter,

I have confirmed with R&D that the SIM_DET pin should be left floating, as grounding it leads to a small leakage current.
