ADC for nRF52832 with Arduino IDE

Hey Guys,

I'm totally nooby, maybe you can help me. Following Problem:

I got a SparkFun nRF52832 Breakout Board and use the Arduino IDE to program it. Now i want to measure a temperature with an NTC, so i connected it to Analog Input. It seems like the range of analog input voltage ends at 0.6V is that right?

Is there any way to change it to - lets say - 3.3V? Or is there any other smart way for a larger input voltage range? Or any idea about the 1K NTC on an analog input?

were you successful in using analogReference(AR_INTERNAL_3_0);?

I have the same board as you and I'm currently having issues trying to change the reference voltage to 3.0V

Hey Buddy,

I was but it's kind of tricky. You probably installed the SparkFun Board via Board Manager in Arduino but the thing is, the nRF5 Core in SparkFuns Files is an old one.

So heres the deal:

1. Get the nRF52 Core from Github or download the stuff for the Adafruit Feather nRF52: https://learn.adafruit.com/bluefruit-nrf52-feather-learning-guide/arduino-bsp-setup

2. You'll find the Core Files under: Library > Arduino15 > packages...

3. Take the files (wiring_analog.h & wiring_analog_nRF52.c) from adafruit and copy them in to your SparkFun packages folder and replace them (better safe the old ones first)

4. Give it a try, take the commands found in the link above (nrf52-adc)
