I want to echo another comment from over a year ago regarding this issue. There are a number of electrical CAD tools that can import Altium files with very high fidelity as long as the format of the SchDoc and PcbDoc files are saved in Altium ASCII format, rather than in native binary format. As an embedded hardware designer myself who also has past experience with Altium, I know that it's a trivial process for your hardware design team to generate those additional ASCII format output files. Importing Nordic's known good data saves those of us that wish to use your verified design many hours of effort, particularly with the RF layout, and is a very real cost to a lot of design teams.
Don't tell us (yet again) that Nordic is considering this as an option in the future. Do right by your customers and get it done - simply make the Altium ASCII files available. Not just for the nRF9160, which is my immediate source of irritation and prompted this post, but for your other reference designs as well.
Thank you for your time, attention, and getting your design community access to those Altium ASCII files. I know I'm not alone in saying we appreciate it.
